I have trained with the London School of Sports Massage in Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy, the highest level professional qualification in soft tissue therapy in the UK. To date I have worked with a wide range of clients to provide soft tissue and advanced sports massage therapy, to include recreational triathletes and runners, professional golfers, England Athletics, British Swimming, The England Rugby 7's team and Team GB Sevens in preparation for Rio 2016.
I am a fully Accredited Physiologist with the British Association of Sport & Exercise Sciences (B.A.S.E.S). Through achieving this I have provided physiological and performance analysis support to various recreational and elite athletes supporting teams such as British Swimming and British Skeleton. I have also worked with multiple governing bodies through UK Sport to identify and develop talent, and contribute to sustainable performance pathways towards Rio 2016 and beyond.
I have had a keen interest in sport from a young age and currently train and compete in triathlon, representing Great Britain as an Age Group Middle Distance Athlete. I chose to study sport at university, my first degree (BSc Sport & Exercise Science) at the University of Wales, Cardiff. From here I continued to study a Masters (MSc Sports Science) at Loughborough University in 2010.
Since graduating I have been fortunate enough to work in various high-performance environments, to include managing the British Skeleton team whilst abroad for International competition, and contributing to the organisation of the player medical requirements for the Rugby World Cup 2015.
