Kinesio Taping

Kinesio taping is a rehabilitative taping technique that provides support and stability to muscles and joints. Taping has numerous benefits such as decreasing inflammation and facilitating lymphatic drainage to alleviate pain and provide extended soft tissue manipulation following treatment.

Acupuncture for Sports Injuries

Acupuncture helps to release tight muscles and trigger points, restoring the body's balance and energy levels, promoting healing and accelerating recovery time.  With client consent, acupuncture may be used in conjunction with other advanced soft tissue therapy techniques .

What To Expect

On initial consultation, the source of the pain and underlying musculoskeletal dysfunction will be explored. This may include lifestyle and medical based questionnaires, as well as a detailed postural and range of movement assessment.

The soft tissue treatment will be individually tailored based on the specific issues presented. These can include a range of advanced sports massage techniques, acupuncture or taping and may require the patient to continue prescribed self-remedial exercises between treatments.
